What cheerleading means to me.

High school team at states in 2008
Cheerleading is very important to me. I miss it more and more everyday that I'm not doing it. I have been cheerleading since I was in fifth grade. I did my high school team all four years and I have been on an all-star team since I was in 7th grade. I tore my ACL and Meniscus about two years ago but that hasn't stop me from doing what I love. Cheerleading to most people isn't a sport but once you get into it you realize how hard and time consuming it is, just like all other sport. My high school team won states in 2008 and that was the most amazing feeling ever to be the best team in your state. This past April, my all-star team went to worlds, which is held at the Milk House in Orlando, Florida. Teams from all over the world go to this one competition. You have to get a bid to go, which pretty much means you have to be really good. Seeing teams from all over the world is amazing and one of the best things I have ever experienced. Cheerleading is very important to me and it is something I absolutely love to do.
